Terms of Agreement for Cupid’s ID

Welcome to Cupid’s ID (the “Service”), a platform dedicated to enhancing member safety in online dating by providing identity verification and background screening services. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Agreement (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Service.

To achieve this, we conduct thorough verification processes to help ensure that users are who they claim to be and to identify potential risks. By agreeing to these Terms, you explicitly consent to and authorize us to perform the following safety measures as part of your registration and ongoing use of the Service:

•  Sex Offender Registry Search: We will search national and state sex offender registries using the information you provide to help protect our community from individuals who may pose a risk.

•  ID Verification: You must provide valid government-issued identification (such as a driver’s license or passport) for verification purposes.

•  Facial Recognition: We will use facial recognition technology to compare your submitted photo or video with your provided ID to confirm your identity.

These processes are mandatory for all users and are designed solely to enhance safety. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in denial of access to the Service.

2. Protection of Your Information

We are committed to safeguarding your personal information. 3. Payment Terms

All payments for our Service, including any fees for verification or membership, are non-refundable. 4. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that compromises the safety of our community. Violations may include, but are not limited to:

•  Engaging in harassing, abusive, or illegal behavior.

Reporting Process and Consequences

Members may report other users if they reasonably believe the reported user has violated these Terms, including scamming, blackmailing, abusing, or otherwise harming another member. Upon receiving a report, we will investigate the matter in good faith. During the investigation:

•  The reported account may be temporarily suspended to protect the community.

•  If, after investigation, we determine that the reported user has violated these Terms, their account will be permanently closed, and they will be prohibited from creating new accounts.

Malicious or False Reporting

We take the integrity of our reporting system seriously. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that a report was made maliciously, in bad faith, or without any reasonable basis (for example, reporting someone solely because you did not enjoy a date, or fabricating a violation that did not occur), the reporting user’s account will be suspended. Repeated or egregious instances of malicious reporting may result in permanent closure of the reporting user’s account.

No refunds will be issued in the event of any suspension or termination, regardless of the reason.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

•  Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and verification.

•  Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

•  Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

•  Use the reporting system responsibly and only in good faith.

•  Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy in our verification processes and investigations, we do not guarantee that all risks will be identified or that every report will be resolved to your satisfaction. You use the Service at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Washington County, Oregon.
